First of all, we are greatly relieved by the arrival of the long-awaited ceasefire
and hope it will last as long as possible.
A small leap between worlds.
We landed in Berkeley, California, in the United States for a short stopover.
Impressions from the airport in Guatemala: This friend stood in line with us to check in, and along the way, there were lots and lots of stickers on the wall, so we added ours too.
The transition is sharp and noticeable, the streets are clean, everything is orderly, everyone speaks English, and Berkeley is more beautiful than ever, bathed in spring rain.
We take a moment to breathe, walk around a bit, stock up on everything we were missing on the way, and indulge in the little things, big and small, good coffee, fine food, and a hot shower with plenty of running water.

It's becoming a tradition that when I arrive in Berkeley, Keren and I go for hikes through the streets, the hidden walkways, and the fascinatingly beautiful gardens.
Just a few pictures from the botanical garden, where we wandered today, blending in with the rain, the paths, and the magical vegetation.
Guy went to be with Uncle Tuvy, and I'm taking off for Idaho tomorrow to continue my shamanism studies.
The bear stayed behind, in good hands,
With the charming Axel, who watches over her from the window of his house, almost 24/7.
Axel's yard is huge, with a collection of old cars, a mechanic's workshop, and a camping site.
Before that, we spent two days in Guatemala City, and to put it mildly, not exactly a destination for an extended stay… so moving here only further emphasizes the differences.

We are taking a week off from writing and will, of course, continue when we return to Guatemala in about ten days.
An opportunity for anyone who hasn't had time to read the latest posts to catch up and narrow the gaps.
Until then, keep moving, learning, and being on the path 💛
With love,
Guy, Efrat, and the Bear
